Welcome
Hi, I'm Qi Guo, an educational technology researcher and learning experience designer with a Ph.D. in Instructional Psychology & Technology from Brigham Young University.
My work bridges learning science, artificial intelligence, and human-centered learning design. I research how emerging technologies—including AI and decision-based learning—can support learner engagement and meaningful learning, as well as how families, educators, and institutions can create supportive learning environments.
As a learning experience designer, I translate research and complex content into engaging, accessible, and practical learning experiences. My work spans online course design, interactive and multimedia learning, mobile learning, learning analytics, AI-supported educational tools, and faculty collaboration.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: people learn best when they are actively engaged in meaningful experiences. I use learning science and technology not for their own sake, but to create experiences that help learners explore, practice, reflect, collaborate, and apply what they learn.
